Eye-tracking measures where a person looks, for how long and in what order. A camera records eye movements tens to hundreds of times per second, and the data then show what people notice, what they miss and where they hesitate.

It is used wherever attention matters:

• Maps and visualisations How we read maps and charts, and how to make them clearer.
• Websites and apps Where users look for controls and what they overlook.
• Education and reading For example in detecting and treating dyslexia.
• Gaze control Applications that respond to where you look.

I develop methods and tools that help analyse and visualise this data.
